It has finally happened!  My website, www.vintagecorkscrews.com has actually netted me a sale.  Make that three sales, well, the sale of three corkscrews anyway.  Oh frabjous day calloo callay!

Well, I went to the poop office box today–so named, as I usually walk my dog there–and there was quite an array of items waiting for me.  Some I expected, some unexpected. 

A 1906 Noyes patent corkscrew, a vaughns ez puller on its original card, and a small mermaid corkscrew… those were the expected.  Then, there was this rather large package…and after battling with packing tape and bubble wrap a very large grapevine corkscrew appeared… Marked "watch for gnarly head", I started to look suspiciously at the people walking by… what does one deem a "gnarly head" and how will I know when I see one……
