hardwood floors are done!

After two days of having the kitchen and dining room masked off, I got the official okey-dokey that I could remove the plastic and tape, and the floors can now be walked upon. We don’t have a stove or countertops, but at least the floors are done.

I stole away to the golf course yesterday afternoon after my brief sojourn to NH and Maine, and managed to fit in 9 holes. It was the first time I have picked up club this year, and I was a bit rusty; triple triple double bogey bogey bogey bogey bogey double–for a whopping 45. Still, there were some nice shots. I do have to work on my chipping however.

No corkscrew news for the day, but I am gearing up for the JFO convention next week!
