I got up this morning, and dug out the four feet of snow that was blocking the driveway. And, then began digging out the four feet of snow on the walkway. Before too long the sun came up, and the sky began to turn a lovely blue–having been gray, or alternatively white the last several days.
So, the snow has finally stopped.
Until tomorrow at least, and there is more snow in the forecast.
So, the lovely and I are going to seize this opportunity to get a quick getaway. We are heading down to the boat, and heading for America for the evening. A few construction chores on the mainland, and then dinner at one of the eateries on that side of the water.
Hopefully there will be some corkscrew news to report soon. I know that Peter is at Newark this morning, perhaps he has uncovered something…
