The Perille Perle arrived the other day, and it is in fantastic condition. Definitely a keeper, and a welcome addition to the collection.
I did do a little hunting for a illustration of the Perle, and while it does appear twice in Gerard Bidault’s Les Tire-bouchons Français, Modèles et Fabricants
I was hoping to find a catalog illustration as well. And, here it is…
While the Perle is definitely a really nice addition to the collection, yesterday another corkscrew arrived. And, that is the cleanest Pullezi I have ever had.
It is really well-marked, and even has advertising for “CLEMENTS, BILLITER ST.” From what I have gathered, Clement’s was a cutler and retailer in London.
BTW, it works really well!!!
