In a recent Internet search, I ran across an interesting looking corkscrew, that I definitely want to acquire. This one isn’t old, vintage, or antique. In fact, it isn’t even available yet.
The Day of The Dead Corkscrew was designed by Ariel Rojo and Mexico Industrial Design Student Stephanie Suarez for the Mexican Design Challenge, and after emailing the Kikkerland folk directly about when, and if, this corkscrew was going to be produced, I received a response yesterday explaining that in mid-May the Day of the Dead corkscrew will be available.
It is simply too cool not to have. Given I have been involved in an email exchange with the manufacturer, I will provide an update as to how to acquire one as soon as they are available for purchase.
