Adding to the Converse list…

Yesterday, shortly after posting the blog, I received an email from DB with a photo attached.

It included a picture with another Converse patent with advertising, this one reads:

HOLIHAN BROS, WHOLESALERS TO THE PEOPLE, LAWRENCE, MASS

After doing a little research, it seems that the Holihan Bros. (James P., Joseph P., and Charles A.) not only were the “wholesalers to the people,” they were also brewers to the people, producing Diamond Spring Beers!
