vise-o-lift arrives

The last few days have been, largely, spent at the wine shop, so I haven’t spending a lot of time corkscrewing around online. But, the other day, when I got home there was a medium priority post box waiting for me, and within it, was the Vise-O-Lift.

The finish on it is pretty much perfect, and it is well marked:

Interesting that the Vise-O-Lift is marked Patent Pending, when there was a patent awarded in 1933 to W.S. Elters for his Culinary Tongs. Could it be that the Patent Pending relates to all of the added openers and corkscrew, or was this produced prior to the patent being awarded?

In doing a little research on the Vise-O-Lift, I haven’t been able to uncover much thus far, just an advertisement looking for sales people:

If you have any information relating to this particular corkscrew, feel free to drop me a line. I would love to find out more about this multitool!
